JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary
Provides general janitorial services and building maintenance support as well as installing and taking down sign posts for real estate listings. The Facilities & Maintenance Specialist is responsible for helping ensure a clean and safe working environment at branch offices and for installing and removing sign posts in a professional manner.

 

Essential Functions

Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

  1. Cleans office interior and performs other maintenance and repairs typical to an office environment.
  2. Helps maintain and clean sidewalks, parking lots and building exteriors as needed.
  3. Paints and installs sign posts for real estate listings
  4. Drives company vehicles during travel between offices and travel to stores for supplies purchases, as needed. Also drives company vehicles during travel to install and remove sign posts for real estate listings.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

 

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard janitorial supplies and building maintenance equipment and tools.

 

Physical Demands

This role requires some heavy lifting of up to 50-75 pounds and requires the ability to use a ladder and to bend and stand as necessary.

 

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Must be able to work Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 

Travel

Travel between office locations, to stores and to property listings is expected for this position and must be able to drive and operate company vehicles.

 

Required Education and Experience

High school diploma or equivalent.

 

Other Requirements

Must have a current valid California driver’s license.

Must have a driving record that is insurable as an “eligible driver” under London Properties, Ltd. business auto policy.

 

Preferred Education and Experience

One year of janitorial & building maintenance experience.

A clean driving record.
